Volunteer

Volunteers are the lifeblood of the Pacific County Historical Society

What do volunteers do?

Volunteers are a vital part of the Society’s success. In addition to working at the front desk, there are volunteer activities ranging from helping with special events to cataloging and organizing archives and artifacts. Please contact the Museum regarding volunteer opportunities.

Why volunteer?

Volunteers are part of preserving the history of our region! Our staff and volunteers have diverse backgrounds and talents making our team dynamic and interesting. Volunteering is a great way to meet people from all over and to learn more about this special part of the world. The Pacific County Historical Society began with volunteers and will only continue with the help of volunteers.  Contact us to get started.

I know nothing about Pacific County. Can I still help?

Of course! The only requirements are interest and enthusiasm! Staff and/or seasoned volunteers are always available to help answer questions. Many of our volunteers start with little knowledge, but gain a lot quickly by simply volunteering.   Contact us to get started on a learning adventure.
